Every candle that leaves the studio is hand-poured in small batches in Longmont, Colorado. We use 100% USA-grown soy wax and clean, non-toxic fragrance oils infused with essential oils. Each vessel is poured, labeled, and packaged by hand — ensuring quality, consistency, and care in every detail.

Small-batch production allows us to stay close to the process. We test each fragrance blend extensively to achieve the perfect balance of cold throw (how it smells unlit) and hot throw (how it fills your home when burning). Nothing is mass-produced or rushed. Every candle is made with the same craftsmanship and pride that started Wax Crescent back in 2019 — in a kitchen filled with scent, creativity, and heart.

Why We Still Pour by Hand

Right now, my business is at a point where scaling up — investing in machinery and automation — would make practical sense. It would be faster, easier, and more efficient. But for me, the heart of Wax Crescent has always been in the artistry. I want someone to touch, hold, and pour every single candle that leaves our studio.

This is craftsmanship. This is art. And this is intention.

Each candle is shaped by human hands, guided by care and attention that no machine can replicate. The swirl of wax, the alignment of the wick, the steady pour — it’s all part of the ritual that makes each piece unique. Keeping that connection between maker and product is sacred to me. It’s what transforms our candles from objects into experiences, and what keeps our work rooted in the authenticity that built this brand from the beginning.
