How many people are in each class?
Classes are small and intentionally limited to 8–12 people so you can have a personalized, hands-on experience.

 

Do I need any experience?
Not at all! This class is designed for beginners. It’s an entry-level workshop where you'll learn the basics of candle making in a relaxed, supportive environment.

 

What if I’m running late?
Please arrive on time! If you’re more than 25 minutes late, you will not be permitted to join the class, as it disrupts the flow and safety of the session.

 

How long is the class?
Each class lasts 2 hours. We move at a relaxed pace, with time to learn, pour, connect, and unwind.

 

Where is the class held?
Wax Crescent Studio + Boutique, 525 3rd Avenue, Suite 101, Longmont, CO

 

Is parking available?
Yes! Street parking is free after 6 PM and all day on weekends. There’s also a public lot on Main Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue, just a short walk from the studio.

 

What should I wear?
We’ll provide aprons and protective gear, but please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy. This is a creative, hands-on experience.

 

Do I need to bring anything?
Just bring a positive attitude and a willingness to slow down and get creative. We provide everything else.

 

Are classes inclusive?
Yes — inclusivity matters. If you need special accommodations, please email us ahead of time at shinebright@waxcrescent.com and we’ll do our best to make your experience comfortable and welcoming.

 

Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many people attend solo. These classes are designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and community-focused — whether you come alone or with a group, you’ll be in good company.

 

What’s the age requirement?
Participants must be 16 or older. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Do I take my candles home the same day?
Candles need time to cure. They’ll be ready for pickup within 3 business days, or we’re happy to ship them to you for a small fee.

 

Can someone else pick up my candles?
Yes! Just let us know the name of the person picking them up — easy and flexible.

 

Do I need to sign anything?
Yes — a waiver will need to be signed upon arrival. We’ll walk you through it when you check in.

 

Can I book a private class or event?
Yes! We love hosting private events for birthdays, team outings, creative gatherings, and more. Please email shinebright@waxcrescent.com to inquire about group bookings.

 

Can I cancel or reschedule my class?
Because each class is limited and requires advance prep, all bookings are final. We do not offer refunds or date transfers.

 

What if I can’t make it?
You’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend. Just email us their name at least 24 hours before class.
