Candle Studio Retail Associate & Production Assistant (Part-Time)

Job Summary:
Wax Crescent, a boutique candle studio in Longmont, is looking for a warm, detail-oriented part-time team member to support both retail and production operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a small, intentional business rooted in storytelling, scent, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities:

Retail Support

• Greet and assist customers with warmth and product knowledge

• Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately

• Restock inventory, maintain visual displays, and keep the boutique tidy

• Answer questions about scent profiles, gift ideas, and product benefits

• Assist with gift wrapping, bundling, and customer orders

Production Support

• Prep candle materials: wicking, labeling, batching, and packing

• Help with order fulfillment for online sales

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the studio

• Assist with behind-the-scenes content creation (optional but a plus!)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow systems (or create them!)

• Self-motivated, organized, and open to learning all parts of a small business

• Comfortable working around fragrance and in a creative, scent-filled environment

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time; flexible weekday schedule with weekend availability required

• Starting late June

• $18–$22/hour, based on experience
